This is a companion piece to Mental Mindscape. My goal was to create a self portrait from photographs and make them appear to be a painting. Done in CS6 Photoshop April 2013
The inspiration for this piece were the lectures done by John Maeda on Adobe Academy and Marshall McLuhan on Cybernetics. My interpretation was that to progress into the future you must understand and have knowledge of the past and history. This composite is comprised of images of the Automaton of Mailardet, tablet pen, and an ancient tablet with cuneiform. Done in CS6 Photoshop w/ Wacom tablet April 2013
